Spreadsheets, Dashboards, Board Games, and Websites, Oh my!
SPREADSHEETS
Procurement System
At the Camden City School District, I redesigned the entire Procurement Data Processing System for the Operations department. This spreadsheet allowed the department to set up and track the annual budget, live monitor Purchase Order balances, and automated batch processing of invoices for payment. This system took what was once 3 full time jobs down to half a day’s work, allowing the department to focus on growth and development.

DASHBOARDS
Stock Watch
One of my first freelance projects was developing a stock dashboard. The client could select the Ticker they wanted to view, and the dashboard would update using Google Finance formulas. Since Google Sheets has developed quite a bit since I built this, it probably could use some updating.

BOARD GAMES
Dominos
When the Covid-19 lock downs started, my family began weekly virtual game nights – but the games we could play over FaceTime were limited. I made it my personal challenge to see how I could use Google Sheets and Appscript to allow us to virtually play our favorite game – Mexican Train. Give it a try for yourself! If you win a round, you’ll get a surprise. You will need to authorize access to the script file in order for the game to work.

WEBSITES
My First Website
If you visited http://www.alisaediger.com a few years ago, you would have been redirected to a Google Sheet published to the web. Sometimes I miss the flexibility a sheets-site offered me, but once my freelance career really took off, I decided a professional upgrade was in order.
